Hailing from the garages of Chicago, Edgar with a Shoebox climbed to the top of the pop scene in 2008 with their debut album, You've been Edgar'd. The band's latest album, Edgar Bobblehead, fuses Edgar's saccharine vocals with poppy strumming to produce a bevy of ultra-catchy gems. With standout tracks like "Bobble bobble," look for Edgar with a Shoebox to be a major force in the pop landscape for years to come.

Sometimes life feels like this.
Late lunch, I took a walk to Michigan Ave. and ate some Chinese food today. Kung Pao Chicken to be exact. Wondeful walk, the walk there got me nice and hungry, and the walk back was great so I wouldn’t feel full when I got back.
As I exited the elevator back from lunch, at about 2:15pm I saw lots of people in the conference room overlooking Lake Michigan. A coworker going towards the conference room said an email was sent about some singing. Singing?
I went to investigate. Lo and behold, 8 out of 18 members of the Undertones, and acapella group of undergraduates from Evanston (Northwestern University), decided to come down and show us their “stuff” by singing three songs. Northwestern’s Alma Mater was one of the songs. More memorable was Chris Rice’s Lemonade http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j2jKVJ93Dro it was simply fantastic as acapella. Lastly, Carole King’s I Feel The Earth Move http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HMeXt6-7ggw
We got a little show this Friday afternoon at work, and it was superb.
Check them out and Subscribe http://www.youtube.com/user/NUUndertones tell them Edgar sent you!
